Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 April 2026

1. The Service

Portfolio Intelligence (the “Service”) is a UK-operated stock-analytics dashboard that aggregates public market data (Polygon.io, Yahoo Finance, Finnhub) and lets you organise, filter, and reason about a list of tickers you choose to track. It is provided as-is for personal and informational use. By creating an account or using any part of the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Not investment, financial, or tax advice

This is the most important section. Read it. Nothing on the Service — including dashboards, predictions, analyst ratings, “guidelines” output, screening results, or anything else — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell a security, or financial planning. The Service displays publicly-available market data and computed analytics. Markets can move against you and you can lose money, including more than you put in. Always do your own research and consult an FCA-authorised financial adviser before making investment decisions.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and email account secure.
  • One account per person. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
  • We may lock your account temporarily after repeated failed sign-in attempts (anti-credential-stuffing — PICU-844). The forgot-password flow can recover access.
  • You can delete your account at any time by emailing portfoliointelligenceuk@gmail.com; see the Privacy Policy for retention timing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or redistribute the Service’s output in bulk. Personal use is fine; competing data resales are not.
  • Bypass the captcha, rate-limits, or any other technical control. Automated abuse is grounds for immediate termination.
  • Upload bank statements or files that contain other people’s personal data without their consent.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate any person or organisation.
  • Use the Service in a jurisdiction where it would be unlawful.

5. Market data

Market data is licensed from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. We make a reasonable effort to refresh data on a regular schedule and to surface staleness, but we make no warranty that any number you see is accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose. If a data point is critical to a decision, verify it against a primary source.

6. Fees

The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid tiers in the future, existing accounts will be notified by email and given a clear option to either upgrade or continue on a free tier with reduced features.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. On termination, data is removed per the schedule in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising out of trading or investment decisions you take based on output from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is currently zero).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

9. Changes to these Terms

We’ll update the “Last updated” date when material changes are made. For substantive changes affecting user rights or fees, we’ll notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
